When senior adults need extended care, the Nursing Home at Hickman Community Hospital is here to help. This 40-bed JCAHO-accredited facility provides compassionate, faith-based care for older adults.

It begins with medical services, which include physical, occupational and respiratory therapy, wound care, dental care and mental health counseling. A wide variety of programs and services help senior adults stay active and mentally stimulated. There's physical recreation, such as bowling, memory-enhancing games, cooking classes, as well as regular outings to shopping centers and restaurants.
A registered dietician is on staff to provide individualized nutrition assessments so meals and snacks are both healthy and appetizing. In addition, the dietician meets often with residents to hear their input and suggestions. Holiday meals and special picnics add variety, and residents can choose one special meal every month.
