The hospitals of Saint Thomas Health are committed to ensuring the health and well-being of all our employees, our patients and their families. Our medical leadership is managing the current situation as well as reviewing national, state, local and hospital policies about pandemic influenza, and will issue updates as needed.

As a reminder, anyone with flu-like symptoms is advised to stay home from work or school to avoid spreading infections to others. In addition, frequent hand-washing and cough etiquette can lessen the spread of respiratory illness.

The Tennessee Department of Health is partnering with the Tennessee Poison Center to provide a free Flu Information Line for all Tennessee residents: 1-877-252-3432. Information will be available weekdays from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The time may be varied according to the number of calls received. Information will be available for English and non-English speakers.
